The twenties party had an unexpected side effect. I was trying to make a one-hour twenties’ dress, but tried it out doll-sized first. It was finicky, so I went looking for a bigger doll. Instead I found a whole new world of Barbie®. Now you can have petite, tall and - what I love most - the curvy. I had to have one. I liked the silver streaks in this one’s hair, and thus she was names Sylvie.

Sylvie arrived here on 24 Feb, which is Pisces.  What Style Personality can we create from that? Pisces is ruled by Nepture, ethereal and dreamy. That suggests soft, flowing fabrics and delicate details. Bohemian, vintage and whimsical styles. Pisces as a water sign sugests flowing lines, with pastel and oceanic colours. In essence, a gentle, dreamy and romantic aesthetic. She looks Deep Autumn to me, which doesn’t blend easily with Pisces, but as my new Bestie Gemini suggests, I can look at deep, muted aquatics, like deep teals, forest greens,  and muted, smoky blues which retain the watery essence of Pisces while aligning with the depth of Autumn. Also Lilacs and violets that a warm, earthy undertone rather than icy.
