Finally, a doll with short hair! She’s no 22 in the
Looks collection, I would have liked the blonde
that is no 9, but one takes what one can get.
She is a Petite doll, but has the new shape. She
arrived on 11 April, which puts her firmly in
Aries. (And 10h41 delivery time gets her Gemini
Rising, if you’re interested.)
I did prepare a dress for her, in advance, but it
didn’t suit her at all! No surprise, she’ seems to
be a Clear Spring. Nothing Autumn about her at
all. Her name, Béla, is derived from the French
for Aries, Bélier, and fits in with the other dolls
nicely.

Short hair at last!
It is almost
impossible to dress a
doll with long hair,
but now that I have
one with short hair, I
understand why long
is popular: it is silky,
can be brushed, and
feels nice. This style
feels very lacquered
to the touch, but
wow, isn’’t it
gorgeous?
Original outfit
This pink jumpsuit is
truly horrible.
Although she’s from a
Collector Dolls series,
I don’t think anyone
designs their clothes
with adults in mind.
Her body size is
smaller than a normal
body, and her feet are
tiny too.
Aries is a fire sign, which is bold and
energetic. Ruled by Mars, red will be
a key colour for her, except that I
seem to have very few red fabric
scraps. As red is my favourite colour,
and I wear it a lot, this is a surprise.
However, I had some orange for a
new starter dress, and orange is also
a good colour for Aries. It’s not bright,
like the Dutch orange, but it suits her
well enough, and with a couple of
accessories and some styling, should
be fabulous.
Clear Spring calls for bold solids and
interesting colour combinations. Her
style will be dramatic, very energetic,
eye-catching and trend aware.
